This collection contains a variety of administrative records and correspondence regarding staffing, budget, and other general business, as well as a number of materials regarding the policing of the community. The latter category includes a variety of registers of infractions and of individuals arrested or wanted for arrest, some of whom, owing to the substantial regional Jewish population, were Jewish. Elsewhere, there are various papers and correspondence regarding permits and licenses for various activities and events, especially for automobile permits and licenses.
